Into Flames — Indie Film Graphic Poster, 2025
Into Flames is an experimental poster exploring themes reflected within the client's film. This piece uses retro typography, 80s horror aesthetic and bold gradients to visually simulate heat, passion, and intense emotion.
Objective: To design a poster that visually captures the chaos and energy of film, using the actor's faces as the primary visual elements. The goal was to translate the sensory experience of flames into a static medium through distortion.
My Role: Digital compositing, typesetting and overall visual direction.
This project was a creative partnership with the director of the film – built on clear communication and trust. The client’s vision for a retro horror-inspired poster guided my design decisions, like emphasizing dramatic contrasts that heightened the sense of suspense and uncertainty. Every choice balanced artistic expression with the client’s expectations, resulting in a final piece that felt true to their vision while still carrying my signature design sensibility.
